Forget Me Knott Foundation Inc. was born out of a deeply personal experience – the founder's inability to regularly visit their aging mother who lived in a nursing facility in another state.
This emotional challenge, compounded by financial constraints, highlighted a broader issue faced by many individuals in their golden years: isolation and the longing for companionship. Inspired by a profound desire to bring joy and companionship to seniors, the Forget Me Knott Foundation Inc. was established.

The foundation's mission is clear: to enhance the quality of life for seniors by combating loneliness and isolation through engaging activities and companionship. Recognizing that physical ailments such as hip, joint, and leg pain often accompany old age, the foundation seeks to create an environment where seniors can thrive despite their challenges.
